Animal Haus'
Horse and Pony Retirement Center ... Animal Haus' horses and ponies is a private retirement facility, fully funded by my own personal bank account. We have never, and will never, accept donations. I feel that these animals that were entrusted to me, are my responsibility. Although some of these horses are able to be placed in foster homes, most stay with me until the end of their days. These horses live freely on our farm, never to endure work, malnutrition, or hunger ever again. All horses were bought at current market value or higher to get them out of the situations they were living in, and are now living with us during their retirement years. We are not a rescue organization but rather a retirement center, as due to some ridiculous new laws in the state of Virginia- we are no longer able to participate in the rescue or placement of animals. However our current residents will reside with us in retirement for as long as they live. |
